Mobile workshops have been planned by local organizers in the Detroit and Southest Michigan region - including two pre-conference mobile workshops, six mobile workshops during the conference, and a free walking tours. To participate you must reserve a spot using our online registration system before the conference.
Refund Policy on Mobile Workshops
For contract purposes, the National Brownfields Conference must provide head counts for mobile workshops to vendors a week prior to the conference. Once these reservations are made, ICMA is obligated to pay the vendor based on the reservation count provided. Therefore, full refunds for mobile workshops will be made to individuals who need to cancel their mobile workshop reservations until the close of business (5:00 pm Eastern) on Friday, April 21, 2008. After that date, no refunds will be made.
We understand that individual travel plans can change at the last minute, however, we regret that there can be no exceptions to this refund policy because of our contractual obligations with the various vendors necessary to ensure successful mobile workshops.
