Why You Should I Showcase My Property at the Brownfields Transaction Forum

| Tad McGalliard

Deals, deals, and more deals that's why.

It's no secret that brownfields are not always the easiest properties to develop. Recognizing this fact, and seeing a great opportunity at the National Brownfields Conference, ICMA proposed a way to leverage the conference for purposes of dealmaking and redevelopment. After consultation with EPA and various other cosponsors, in particular the International Council of Shopping Centers and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, the very first "brownfields transaction forum" was held at the St. Louis conference in 2004.  Since that time the event has become a staple and much anticipated two-hours at the conference.

If you're a property owner or a broker, municipality, nonprofit or private sector firm, the transaction forum is an ideal venue to get your parcel in front of developers and investors.  Brownfields and other redevelopment ready properties are welcomed and we encourage you to register yourself and your available properties to secure a space during the conference.  By doing so, you'll ensure that you'll connect with the largest gathering of brownfield dealmakers this year.  Developers, investors, real estate professionals, end users, transaction support professionals and others will be there to talk with you about your sites, which may one day lead to a solid deal.  Don't delay, sign up now and get your properties in the transaction forum database.
